Julian Rachlin plays the Cremona "ex Carrodus" of 1741, a violin made by Joseph Guarnerius del Gesù; loaned to him by the Austrian National Bank. Recorded at Heinz Hall, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, September 26 & 27, 1992. For this recording 20-bit technology was used for "high definition sound". ℗ 1994 Sony Music Entertainment Inc. © 1994 Sony Classical GmbH. [CD] Made in Austria [rear] Manufactured in Austria.
