Jean-Jacques Cladère was the founder of the publishing and recording studio Disques Jackman ("Jack" for his first name: Jean-Jacques) in the late 1960s in La Réunion Island. It allowed many anonymous, often young artists without experience, to make their first record, without looking too much at quality. He is also at the initiative of the creation of the band Le Club Rythmique which will play the accompaniment of most of the music recorded by his studio. He will also be known to have been the boss of " The Scotch Club " a night club in Saint-Denis, the capital around 1963 to 1975. He also owes a large number of photographs of the artists, which can be found on the records sleeves. No one has heard of him since his precipitous departure from the island in 1975.
