Belgian cellist, born in Liège (Belgium) in 1971. Jean-Pierre Borboux studied music at the "Conservatoire de Liège" and got degrees in cello and chamber music. Along with Jean-Gabriel Raelet and Colette Haumont, he founded "Altimonte", a string trio which tours mainly in Belgium and France. From 1994 he's been playing in the Liège Philharmonic Orchestra, one of the two principal symphony orchestras in Belgium.
