Product Details Bon Appetit is a conception of work composed by bassist, Jeff Howell, formerly of Savoy Brown, Foghat and The Outlaws. The musicians performing on this CD are, Jeff Howell, all vocals, bass and 12-string guitars, Richie Roccisano, playing all other guitars, as well as engineering Bon Appetit. Robert (Bob) Maslin, on drums and guest harmonica player, Nate Marshall, on track 7, Troubles With Me. This CD is based on Jeff’s past endeavors and influences. Having been the bassist of these three distinguished bands, Jeff couldn’t help but have that be a big part of his musical palate. However, Jeff’s musical influences are so vast, it would be unfair to narrow it down to just those three, great bands. The song, Lonely Life, actually has John Anderson style vocal influences (YES) weaved into the fabric of the song, as Jeff was a major prog rock fan, and still is. There are a lot of heavy, hard blues on this cd, as well as up-tempo rockers, and a few surprises. Jeff had a great time with these songs, but rather than elaborate on every song, he’ll let the listener determine for themselves what influences they hear. “But, these songs are all me, baby. Bon Appetit.”
