Album US 2000 on Amherst Records label
Jazz (Smooth Jazz)
AllMusic Review by Al Campbell Morning Drive is trumpeter Jeff Jarvis' second release on the Amherst label. Jarvis has a warm trumpet sound that will appeal to listeners of smooth jazz. Surrounded by contemporary lite jazz musicians that include bassist Brian Bromberg, saxophonist Steve Cole, and keyboardist Brian Culbertson who also produced the session. Jarvis has played trumpet on numerous recordings and his live performance credits include stints with Dizzy Gillespie, Louie Bellson, and Joe Williams.
