Founder and lead guitarist of the band Tuff Darts, died January 26, 2008 of a heart attack at age 55. Legendary guitarist extraordinaire, vocalist and songwriter…Jeff was present at the earliest inception of the ‘new wave’ scene in NYC as a member of JAYNE COUNTY AND THE BACKSTREET BOYS (with MARKY RAMONE) and BUTCH (with TOMMY RAMONE and MONTE MELNICK).
