Canadian photography-based visual artist, and artist history writer. Born September 29, 1946 in Vancouver, British Columbia. Jeff Wall was a member of the band UJ3RK5, alongside other fellow Vancouver artists Rodney Graham and Ian Wallace (2). His 1978 work "The Destroyed Room" was used as both the cover artwork and title of Sonic Youth's compilation The Destroyed Room (B-Sides And Rarities). Wall made the portrait of Iggy Pop that appears on his album Avenue B.
