A.k.a. Jeff Danger Ocarina
Music by Jefferson Boss under a number of various aliases. Cone: ambient work based on field recordings, undulating pulse, representative hum, decaying drone, static, grit, crackle, warp, weft and tonal creep. Surround-sound installation, combined with live performances from the inside of a one man tent. Jeff Danger: Electro and techno from Sheffield via Chicago and Detroit. Archive classics with help from fiendclub collaborators Paul Sleaze and Clarence Bollinger. Sneak solo offerings. Laarj Dor: Previous americana and country meets ramshackle and feedback influenced band. Played with the likes of Alela Diane and Slow Club and many others. Now sometime active. Recordings of instruments strummed, keys played and objects hit. Mainly, but not exclusively, by Tim, Mark and Juliun and Jeff. We Are Legion: Defunct guitar based outing from Ed Carter (Winter North Atlantic), Paul Sleaze, Juliun and Jeff. Occasional archive posts when the mood takes. Neuu Ardente: Collaboration with Omith Mukherjee from a few years back. Omith plays guitar and Jeff plays electronics. Named after the pryroclastic flow emitted by volcanoes. Tracks mainly recorded live. Influenced by Miles Davis and other jazz players. Ocarina : Original lo-fi ambient recordings from around twenty years ago. Recorded on cassette tapes on cheap mini keyboards, delay pedals, patchy amps and guitars.
