Jeffrey Grice is a New Zealand-born pianist who has lived in France for several decades. In 1999, he was decorated with the title Officier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Ministry of Culture for distinguished service in the field of music. His performances have included world premieres of Jenny McLeod's "Tone-Clock Pieces" (1991 in Paris), Karen Tanaka's Quintet for flute, piano and string trio (1996 in Yokohama), Nigel Keay’s The dancer leads the procession (2003 in Paris), David Chaillou’s Diableries, and Kyril Zaborov Sonata (2005 in Paris).
