A.k.a. Jennifer McQuilkin
-Born and raised in Morris County, NJ. -Sang in her first garage rock band at the age of 15. -Joined the heavy metal group Gidd Gloves to sing lead at the age of 18 after Lisa St. Ann left and before Karyn James (Karen Lenchus) joined. -Joined the 10 piece band, Doug Wain Via Satellite, to sing back up at the age of 18, (after graduating from high school), and toured the NYC club circuit. Clubs included the Ritz, CBGB, Kenny's Castaways, the Cat Club, the Limelight, and the Roxy. Recordings included "Doug Wain, Live at the Ritz". -Sax player from Doug Wain (Joe Hoo) recommended she go to an open tri-state audition for Pajama Party (1988). -Jennifer was chosen to be the lead singer for Pajama Party (1988) at the age of 19 and recorded the lead vocals for the hit dance single "Yo No Se'" that same year and was eventually signed to Atlantic Records. Jennifer fronted Pajama Party touring along side of bands like The New Kids on the Block, Sweet Sensation, The Cover Girls, Brenda K Starr and many more. Some of the venues she performed at included The Palladium, 1018, Casanovas, Facade, LaMirage, Pyramid club, Copacabana, and the Surf Club. Biggest events were the Puerto Rican Day Parade in NYC and the Queens Day Festival. -"Yo No Se" climbed the Billboard charts with a bullet, and made both the HOT100 and CLUB DANCE charts in 1989. -After leaving Pajama Party, Jennifer continued to perform live and in the studio with bands like the All Night Band and Phase 1 until 2011. -She currently still resides in NJ continuing to write and produce music, in addition to producing television commercials with her husband of 30 years.
