Album US 2005 on AARC label
Electronic and Spoken Word (Field Recording, Experimental)
The recordings on these two discs pre-date my work as Hands To. Each piece was recorded on a cheap cassette deck in the place indicated and then transferred to a reel-to-reel tape recorder. They were then slowed down and transferred back to cassette. In the case of the recording of Andropov's funeral, the recording was looped a few times to make it longer. All of these recordings were compiled onto a single 90 minute cassette, which I listened to every night as I fell asleep. Bits and pieces of these recordings were used on various Hands To releases, but they have never been heard in this raw state.
