"Metal drift" is a collage of contact mic recordings of found metal; discarded vehicles and appliances, abandoned structures, downed fences, broken furniture or other detritus populating the desert surrounding the town I live in. Everything was recorded on a portable mini-disc recorder and transferred to cdrs. The final mix was done live using several cd players and a four-channel mixer. No processing of any kind was used.
