Recorded at Cosimo Matassa studio. "Harold Battiste, though not credited on the label, produced this and other sides as Specialty's A&R man in New Orleans. The A-side was co-written by 17-year-old Mac Rebennack, ten years before becoming Dr. John. The B-side was written by Battiste as "Bazz" with saxophonist Alvin "Red" Tyler." (source).
