Concertina, piano and button box accordion player. Recording engineer and founder of JBM Sound Productions, where over 400 albums have been recorded. In 1970 Jerry joined the Ivan Kahle Band and was a regular with the band for 32 years. In 1997, Jerry Minar acquired the Hengel concertina manufacturing business. In 2013 acquired all assets of the Vitak-Elsnic concertina business with an alliance with Music Publishers of America (MPA) In 1996 he was inducted into the World Concertina Congress Hall of Fame. In 2006 he received the Lifetime Accordion Award. In 2012 was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame.
