Singer / Musician

Jerry Renino was a bassist, reed player, vocalist and music director best known for his association with The Monkees. He joined the Peter Tork Project in the early 1980s, which led to his becoming a member of The Monkees' backing band in 1989. From there he was the music director/bassist on the all of the group's reunion tours throughout 2002. Concurrently, from 1990-2003, he was music director for Davy Jones's solo shows. Later Renino joined Micky Dolenz's band and became music director/bassist for Peter Noone's Herman's Hermits. Renino also recorded with these artists and their spin-off projects. While still working with Dolenz and Noone, Renino suddenly passed away in 2007.
