Niño Jesus was born in Havana, Cuba. He is a multi-instrumentalist who never took formal music lessons. Niño came to the U.S. in 1973. He began his career as a 15 year old playing bass for a big band in New Orleans. Niño is an excellent arranger who has collaborated with famed artist such as Gloria Estefan, Willy Chirino, Willie Rosario, Roberto Torres, Celia Cruz, amongst many others.
