Musician / Composer of Jazz

Drummer, percussionist, composer, improviser and teacher. Licensed by the Conservatory of Music of Valencia in the speciality of Jazz, he studied with Aldo Caviglia and Jeff Jerolamon. He's also director of the Mondo Rítmic Music School of Castellón, where he teaches drums workshops. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a large number of artists, such as Enjazzats Big Band, IVAM Big Band, UJI Big Band, Crossroads, Andres Belmonte and Jazz 7, Orange Swing, Ricardo Belda, Ramón Cardo, Kirk McDonald, Fabio Miano, Jesus Santandreu, David Pastor, Sambeat Perico and more. He currently leads the Yei Yi & Co project, a jazz quartet for which he composes his own songs and plays the drums, with which he has published "Aaah !!!" (Lemon Songs, 2006), "Another Wall on the Brick" (Lemon Songs, 2007), "Vorte Er Ca" (Password Records, 2010) and "Mull" (Lemon Songs, 2016). They were also 1st Prize in the CS 2009 JZZ, organized by the Universitat Jaume I de Castelló. Also in 2017 he has carried out an experimental percussion project called "Imatges" (Liquen Records, 2017). He es Endorser of Wincent Drumsticks and Bosphorus Cymbals.
