Mandolin player born July 9, 1929 in Couburn (VA, USA). He is a innovator of the bluegrass music due his crosspicking and split-string style. In 1947 he formed the bluegrass band Jim And Jesse together with his brother Jim McReynolds. He still is performing 60 to 70 shows a year.
