Jesse Morrison is a saxophone player from Newark, NJ, born on August 3, 1945. He played with Jimmy McGriff and Buddy Rich and worked for Rhoda Scott. He also toured Europe with DeeDee Warwick. In 1970, he founded the Jesse Morrison Trio, which soon gained reputation in the NJ-area. It consisted of him on the tenor sax, Ernie Jones on keyboard, Don Williams on drums and Ralph Byrd on guitar. Jesse Morrison is also a flutist.
