Her work spans multiple genres, drawing from vocal and literary traditions of Iran and Indonesia while exploring innovations in interpretation and performance.She is a graduate of the Cornish College of the Arts, where she is now a member of the voice faculty.Kenney lives in Seattle with her husband and artistic collaborator Eyvind Kang.
