Died December 14, 2017 in Prague (Czech republic). Was member of The Prague Symphony Orchestra (strings section leader 1968-1979), Czech Trio (1979-1989). Note: Not to be confused with: electronic artist Jiri Tomasek, guitarist Jiří Tomášek (2), conductor Jiří Tomášek (3).
