Czech bass player, pianist, composer, arranger, conductor, bandleader. Born January 28, 1944 in Frýdek-Místek (former Czechoslovakia), died May 16, 2009 in Ostrava (Czech Republic). Founding member of Flamingo (6) 1966–1977. Member of Ostravský Rozhlasový Orchestr (ORO) since 1967, leader of its jazz variant “JORO” since 1981.
