Jidax, the Parisian DJ duo known as “The French Phenomenon,” are the freshest talent to come out of the European Electronic Dance Music world in recent memory. Best friends since childhood, Jide and Axel (thus their collective stage name: Jidax), have taken the European club world by storm since being hand picked to take over the turntables at iconic Champs-Elysees club Queen. Playing alongside world renown DJs from Erick Morillo and Above & Beyond, to Bob Sinclar and Eric Prydz, Jidax has gained its own following of fans who turnout en masse for their magnetic stage presence, distinctive energy and mindblowing DJ sets. The summer of 2012 alone, Jidax has rocked the decks at Electric Daisy Carnival New York, joined Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak stage at East Ender Barcelona, Beatpatrol Vienna, Tomorrowland Brussells and spun North American mega-clubs Mansion Miami, Surrender Las Vegas, Time Supper Club Montreal, and many more. These 21 year-old prodigies have gained world-wide attention, not only for their unparalleled technique and appeal, but for their production skills. Jidax has released several hit tracks on Dim Mak, PinkStar, Pacha Recordings and Robbie Rivera’s Juicy Mix and an official remix of Avicii’s “Fade into Darkness” – many of which were supported by world-renown DJs Tiesto, Afrojack, Thomas Gold and more. Upcoming productions include autumn new music releases on Dim Mak and PinkStar labels, as well as a West Coast US tour. Having headlined some of Europe’s greatest stages, from Space Ibiza, MAD Lausanne, and Amnesia France, Queen Paris and many more, Jidax is now poised to hit the US market at a time when Electronic Dance Music has never been bigger.
