One half of the duo Strawberry Switchblade. After the band broke up in 1985, Jill Bryson intended to retire from the music industry. An artist since before Strawberry Switchblade, Jill continued to work in the mixed media style she developed in art school, doing work in; stained glass, photo-montage, tapestry - and of course her beloved painting. Having been as she says “not particularly impressed by celebrity. ” In March 2013, after a break of almost 30 years from music, Jill returned to songwriting and recording in a new band called The Shapists along with her daughter Jessie Frost and Craig Hood. Eight tracks have currently been recorded and are available to download via The Shapists website or facebook page.
