Artist Portrait

Jim Siegel

dr,
Musician of Rock
A.k.a. Borbas D. Stavrost Ning Nong Scrapazoid

Drummer, photographer, radio DJ on Boston College's WZBC (known as DJ Ning Nong on his long-running program "Ning Nong Radio"), and obsessive record collector. Siegel's photography has been seen on albums by Keith Fullerton Whitman and Brendan Murray, among others. He played drums in the ill-fated Boston band The Peer Group from 1997-2001 (Peter Prescott's post-Kustomized group, prior to Mission Of Burma's reformation). He also filled in as Cul de Sac's drummer on a European tour supporting and playing as backing band for Damo Suzuki in 2003, and played as Martin Carr's drummer on a brief East Coast US Tour in November 2006.
