A.k.a. Jimmy Pearson Staggs

San Francisco KYA radio personality who went by the name of Jim Stag (one "g") who would later go on to greater success at WCFL in Chicago as Jim Stagg. He left radio in 1975 to open a chain of music stores known as "Record City". Stagg died on November 6, 2007 of esophageal cancer. While at KYA in San Francisco, he teamed with fellow on-air talent Bob Mitchell (5) to produce a novelty break-in record, "Report To The Nation", a send-up of the 1960 US presidential campaign.
