Rock and Pop
In 1977, Jim started a band with Bobby Tews called "The Wigs". They released one record that hit #2 on local radio and sales charts and they broke attendance records at Summerfest. Their last show was to over 5,000 people at the Rock Stage. After relocating to Los Angeles in 1982, they appeared and sang in a fairly successful film called "My Chauffeur" (1986). They were signed ever so briefly to CBS Records, though ultimately they were dropped before they could even finish a record as a result of an attempted hostile takeover. Since that band dissolved, Jim's career has been spread across music, television and film. He records and tours with a band called, "Fisher the Band". Jim sang on Ringo Starr's (La De Da) "Vertical Man" CD. He has written songs for many TV shows, including "Melrose Place", "Dawson's Creek", "Ed", "7th Heaven" and "American Dreams". The most recent film Cushinery has written songs for is "Cradle 2 The Grave". For several seasons Jim sang and composed the theme songs for "The Power Rangers".
