Trombonist from Long Beach, California, USA, residing in Madrid, Spain. Jim Kashishian was one of the founding members of the South Frisco Jazz Band in 1956. In 1966 he arrived in Spain as an Air Force bandsman. After his duty was completed he stayed in Madrid and joined the Canal Street Jazz Band, which he has fronted since 1967. In the 70s he founded his own production company Kash Productions, S.A., which expanded from a jingle poduction company to a rental company and later a distributor for professional audio equipment. His studio, Kash, is dedicated to music editing and mastering for the music industry.
