A.k.a. James W Kinney
Growing up in a musical environment where music played the landscape of imagination, "Jaymz Dare" began to frame his early career as a musician by exploring electronic synthesizers and the study with many years of classical piano teacher Geoffry Turner who studied with renowned Concert artists such as Alfred Cortot and Rudolph Ganz left James with plenty of inspiration. With the constant fascination of sound Jaymz Dare began tinkering with electronic gizmos to create a truly unique atmosphere. In 2005 cousin, Amir Derakh of "Orgy" and "Rough Cutt" fame approached Jaymz to work on songs for his new group, "Julien-K". Jaymz ended up co-writing songs "Forever" "Stranded" "The Hunting" on the Feb. 2009 release, "Death to Analog". The Jaymz Dare experience is inspired by many facets of life and art; including poetry, paintings, photographs, and with a touch of humor to provide an underlying commentary for the message he communicates. On tracks that include Kissing Goodbye, Ticking, Cloud Touched, and Playing with Toys, Jaymz Dare creates a serious undertone that calls for reflection. In other tracks such as "Rock Paper Scissors", "Mama Loves The Cars", "Sophisticated Filthy", and "Market Place", gives a humorous shout-out of fun. With music a constant journey, Jaymz Dare simply longs to touch the center of spiritual and musical life.
