Jim Palosaari (born January 12,1939. Died May 25, 2011) was an evangelist and musical performer. He was one of the leaders of 'The Jesus Movement', an Evangelical Christian movement which began on the West Coast of the United States in the 1960s and 1970s and spread throughout North America, Europe, and Central America, before subsiding by the late 1980s. The members of this movement were called 'Jesus People' or 'Jesus Freaks'.
