A.k.a. Jimmy Rippetoe

US guitar player, producer and songwriter who has worked with Mick Jagger and Jerry Lee Lewis amongst others. Grew up in New York and began playing the guitar at the age of 6. Later on he was heavenly influenced by The The Rolling Stones, Muddy Waters and Howlin' Wolf. He joined up with the group Television in the 80's. Later on he toured with Mick Jagger (he also co-wrote some material on "Primitive Cool"). He worked with a.o. Bette Midler, Kid Creole And The Coconuts, Patty Smith, Mariah Carey and Rod Stewart. In 1997 he released his first solo album called "Way Past Blue".
