French singer w. international background best known as the female lead singer in French group Il Était Une Fois. Born February 13, 1953 in New York, the daughter of a French/Vietnamese/American mother and a Danish father, in the early 60's the family moved to Denmark. Early TV-appearences as singer in Denmark and the US. In 1969 she moved with her Mother and sister to France, where her studied music and performed in cafés and folk clubs. Her singing career really took off, when she co-founded and sang female lead in Il Était Une Fois. She released a solo album in 1980 but died in her sleep on May 15, 1982, from pulmonary edema. Her label released Aime-Moi / Il M'appelle only three days after her funeral.
