Heaven on Earth are a husband and wife duo formed in England in 1983 by members Joe Ortiz (from New York City) and Pauly Ortiz (from Essex, England).As a session and touring musician completing a European tour with the chart reggae group 'Inner Circle' Joe met Pauly, who commissioned Joe's multi-instrumental and vocal talents for her first album, titled Lady's Fire. Pauly was then professionally known as Jo Anna Forte, and signed to Eagle Records UK. This album was also released on CBS Europe.
