A.k.a. Josephine Montgomery
British violin player. Born in 1974, 1st violinist Josephine Montgomery studied at Chethams School of Music in Manchester with Christopher Rowland and at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London with Detlef Hahn and Stephanie Gonley. She has worked as an orchestral musician with the Ulster Orchestra, the BBC Philharmonic, the English Philharmonic and Northern Sinfonia. Jo joined the quartet in 1999 and also works as a violin teacher and freelance violinist, performing along side the likes of Leslie Garrett, Sir Cliff Richard, The Avison Ensemble and The Royal Shakespeare Company.
