This is the 16th release in the "Capitol 6000 Series" released in Canada during the 1960s and early 1970s. A collection of arias, including the title track, an English translation of "O mio babbino caro" from Puccini's opera, "Gianni Schicchi," and first recorded by Hammond in 1941. "The Beloved Joan Hammond Sings Puccini Operatic Arias with the Philharmonia Orchestra conducted by Glauco Curiel and two arias from Dvorak's 'Rusalka' with the Philharmina Orchestra conducted by Vilem Tausky and Walter Susskind"
