Spanish composer of zarzuela and other lyrical genres (Madrid, January 2, 1875 - Mexico City, November 4, 1918). Son of the composer Joaquín Valverde. Not confuse his composition "Clavelitos" with the same title tuna song composed by Genaro Monreal, also credited as "Dame Un Clavel.
