This compilation was put together for the event ''C'est Arrivé Près De Chez Vous'' curated by Nathalie Deblois at the Musée National Des Beaux-arts Du Québec, in the fall of 2008. Track 1: originally released on the CD Erratum #3 (EM 003) Erratum Musical, Besançon(2000, www.erratum.org). Modified version of the La Mèmoire De Laetitia, recorded for Mario Gauthier's program on Radio-Canada, L'Espace Du Son. Track 2: originally released as ''Hinterland, Partie 2'' on the CD compilation To Step Outside And Keep Walking, by Swinging Axe Productions & Freedom In A Vacuum (VACCD.02), Toronto (1994). Track 3: first released as ''Non-lieux / Café Van Houtte'' on the website of Montreal artists centre Vox as part of Espaces Mobiles, directed by Marie-Josée Jean and Patrice Loubier (www.voxphoto.com/non-lieux). The version that apeears here has been modified for the Sound Museum Of Amsterdam (www.soundmuseum.fm). Track 4: previously unreleased. Piece for disklavier piano, composed with Louis Ouellet, based weather data for the Quebec area. First version recorded in 1998 (?), reworked in 2007. Track 5: first released on CD in the book Writing Aloud: The Sonics Of Language, Los Angeles (2001) by Errant Bodies Press (www.errantbodies.org). Was also included in an installation at the Oboro artists' centre (Montreal) in 2002. This version was composed for an audioguide presented by Vooruit, in Gent (Belgium) in 2006. Track 6: the first two sections are previously unreleased, the third section of the piece comes from a recording made during a cycling trip across Canada with Diane Landry in 1990 (www.dianelandry.com). This recording is part of the Environ 8,000 Kilomètres installation. Track 7: piece released as ''Un Samedi Analytique'' in Secours Aux Asphyxiés, an audio CD compilation inserted into series 3, Issues 17-18-19-20 of the magazine Doc(k)s). - Nice: Z'éditions, 1999. Track 8: piece produced for the theatrical performance Simul / Tinguely (1993?), by Arbo Cyber, theatre(?). Released on Espaces Sonores, Various Artists, on CD, Inter #98, Quebec (2008). Track 9: theme of Mois Multi 9, an event organized by Productions Recto-Verso, Quebec (2008,wwwmoismulti.org). Track 10: piece taken from the solo vinyl album Stat Live Moniteur , released by ReR Records (ReR 32, London,1988). Track 11: third part of the audioguide produced for the Vooruit Centre in Gent (2006).
