Houston, Texas-based producer, DJ, MC, poet, and label owner, who started learning on the turntables in 1984, at the age of 13. He bought his first drum machine at the age of 15, and played trumpet in high school. Initially using the name Psychedelix B-Boy, Joe formed the Rebel Crew, and with their blend of beats and breaks with twist of Latin electro they got signed to a multiple release deal on Sunburn Recordings in 1997. In 2000, he founded independent record label Starlight Beats & Breaks with fellow Rebel Crew DJ Soul Free. Currently, Joe is getting involved with poetry and spoken word.
