Principal figure of the independent New Orleans record labels Minit, Instant Records (6), Alon, and Tune-Kel Records, among others. Responsible for recording prominent New Orleans artists such as Irma Thomas, Ernie K-Doe, & Aaron Neville. Banashak is also credited with bringing to promenence Allen Toussaint, who acted as house producer at Minit & Instant Records (6) in the early 60's. - born 15 February, 1923 Baltimore, Maryland, USA - died 23 October, 1985 in Atlanta, Georgia, USA.
