Repress from ca. 1963 - 1965. The original version has a wider white band on top of the front sleeve with a larger "STEREO" text on the left. It will also probably have a flipback sleeve. Original version was released in 1962. LABELS: - Black/silver 'grooved wideband' labels - "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" at 11 o'clock - "Made in England" at bottom - "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1962" - Tax code "K/T" - Sides are numbered "3" and "4" - Decca 'Muscial Notes' logo on both sides - Matrix numbers printed upside-down SLEEVE: - Front laminated - No flipbacks - Boxed Decca logo on front and back - Small "stereo" in a black box on front top left - Spine has text on it, bold "STEREO" on spine - "© The Decca Record Company Limited 1962" - "Printed in England by Robert Stace" - Liner notes in English on back CATALOG NUMBERS: - SXL 2301 on sleeve - SXL.2301 on labels OTHER INFORMATION: - Recorded 4 - 12 June 1961 in the Victoria Hall, Geneva - Labelography code: ED1 - Corresponding mono issue has cat# LXT 5665 - Suites Nos. 1 & 2 were recorded at the same sessions and were released simultaneously on SXL 2300. Therefore the number of sides is given on the labels as "(4 sides)". Both LPs could be bought seperately though.
