Johann Gramann

German pastor, theologian, teacher, humanist, reformer, and Lutheran leader (5 July 1487 – 29 April 1541). Also known as Johann Graumann or Johannes Poliander (from Greek πολιός poliós ‚grey / grau‘ und ἀνήρ anēr ‚man / Mann‘). His hymn "Nun lob, mein Seel, den Herren" was set by several composers, including Johann Sebastian Bach.
