New Zealand artist, vocalist and designer. At the age of 20, she released together with her former boyfriend Mark Turner (10) the album Owl + Owl. After the couple disbanded around 2009, Freeman became a sex worker later. In 2012, the new band of her former boyfriend released the track 'Harlot', which indirectly convicted this alteration in profession. The band later apologized for the offensive content of the song. Johanna Freeman is of Dutch origin and lived in the "Little Pictures"-phase together with Turner in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
