This is the first UK version for this cat#. Later versions have a white band on top of the front sleeve. LABELS: - Black/silver 'grooved wideband' labels - "ORIGINAL RECORDING BY" at 11 o'clock - "Made in England" at bottom - "RECORDING FIRST PUBLISHED 1958" - Decca 'Musical Notes' logo on both sides - No speed indication on labels - Matrix numbers printed upside-down SLEEVE: - Fully laminated - 'Half-moon' flipbacks (aka scalloped) - Blue border on back - Triangular "DECCA STEREOPHONIC" logo on front and on back - Top of front sleeve is blue - Thin spine with no text on it - "PRINTED IN ENGLAND" on bottom flipback - Printing date on sleeve is August 1958 ("8-58") - Unsigned sleeve notes in English on back CATALOG NUMBERS: - SXL 2013 on sleeve - SXL.2013 on labels OTHER INFORMATION: - Recorded 23 - 24 September 1957 in the Sofiensaal, Vienna - Labelography code: ED1 - Corresponding mono issue has cat# LXT 5417 Advertised as a new release in "Decca Stereo LPs for Issue 15th September", Gramophone magazine, September 1958.
