A.k.a. Jonathan Janick
A music producer and executive. John Janick formed the J4 Records, Inc. label with his friends Clint Conway, Dave Ogilvie, Josh Coppie, & Carlo Tiseo in college, releasing the "Jolt: America's Most Powerful Compilation" CD. In 1996, Janick founded Fueled by Ramen, a rock label which was acquired by the Warner Music Group in 1999. From 2009 to 2012, Janick was hired by Atlantic co-chairpeople Craig Kallman and Julie Greenwald to become co-president of the now-defunct Elektra Records. In 2014, after Jimmy Iovine's dismissal from Interscope Records, Janick left Fueled by Ramen and became chairman and CEO of Interscope Geffen A&M Records.
