A.k.a. John Thompson Johnny Dromette
John Thompson aka Johnny Dromette lives in Cleveland and performs over the internet as a graphic designer and production manager for a Los Angeles newspaper publisher. He is also the long-running “art guy” responsible for packaging, advertising, and music video production for the band Pere Ubu. His prior activities include operating a Cleveland independent record store, the Drome, and issuing recordings on the Drome and Treehouse labels, and even a three-year stint as Art Director for the notorious Hustler magazine.
