John Webber joined Air Studios in 2013 after seven years at Blue Pro Mastering in North London. He offers services for CD, Vinyl, Direct to Disc Recording, Multichannel/Stems, Mix consultation, Mastered For iTunes and Hi Resolution Audio. In 2014 he was the cutting engineer on AIR Studio’s first ever direct to disc recording – Vivaldi’s Four Seasons performed by the leading Venetian Orchestra Interpreti Veneziani. He’s also cut records for artists including: George Michael, Syd Barrett, Ghostface Killah and Neon Neon. At London’s Pro Sound Awards 2014 John received the ‘Rising Star’ prize for his recent mastering achievements, He’s also received accolades in the HiFi press, including scoring 94% sound quality for his work with BJ Cole & Guy Jackson (Transparent Music 2) in HiFi News and ‘Best in Show’ awards for his work with audiophile producer Mike Valentine at the 2013-14 National Audio Show. Working with any style of music & understanding all aspects of the music creation process are amongst John’s key attributes whatever the genre. Aside from his technical abilities & efficient workflow, all of John’s clients respect his creative decisions as he does theirs.
