Born and raised in The Hague, The Netherlands, John Winckel is a songwriter, audio engineer and producer. Working together with his younger sister Gia Mellish, John writes, records, produces and mixes in the styles of Pop, Electronic, Dance, Progressive, Funk / Soul and RnB. John started creating his sonic world since the late ‘80s, writing songs on his guitar from the age of 8. From the mid '90s John started recording his songs, playing all instruments himself, guitar, bass, drums, piano and occasionally vocals. After playing in several bands, John accomplished a degree in Audio Engineering in 2006 and fulfilled his deep wish to be able to engineer and record on a professional level.
