Canadian country guitarist performing under the name Johnny Guitar/Jean Guitarre. - Born in Europe, moved to Val D'or, Quebec at age 7. - Moved to Toronto, Ontario in 1948 and learned guitar throughout the 50s. - Began performing in toronto with artists such as the Conlon Brothers. - Toured Germany in 1963 with Dianne Leigh and the Carl Smith Show and Graham Townshend. - Left for the US in 1964 where he performed with Skeeter Bonn Trio at the Golden Nuigged in Las Vegas and continued travelling with them. - Settled back in Toronto in 1966 where he performs and teaches.
