John Burke first appeared on the music scene in the early '90s as the drummer and co-songwriter in the Ann Arbor-based alternative rock band WIG (3). He performed on and co-produced all the WIG records, including Deliverance and Wireland, both released on Island Records. Following his time with WIG, Burke continued to play with several groups, including U.S. Sheep, Cactus Music (2), The Blahs, Hail Citizen and STaR mAPs. His work also appears on records by Scott Morgan, Jeremy Porter and West Indian Girl.
