Discs 1 & 2 were recorded at Shinjuku Kosei Nenkin Hall in Tokyo on July 11, 1966. Discs 3 & 4 recorded at Sankei Hall in Tokyo on July 22, 1966. These recordings are mono and were originally taped for Japanese radio broadcast. Disc 3 was previously issued in the United States on "John Coltrane - Live In Japan." All other material is previously unreleased except in Japan. Reissue mastered at the Review Room/NYC. (P) 1991 MCA Records, Inc. & (C) 1991 GRP Records, Inc., (C) 1966 MCA Records, Inc.
